The 2023 Halliday Wine Companion is out and once again, our winery has received a 5-red star rating - which means that we are considered an "Outstanding winery regularly producing wines of exemplary quality and typicity."

Respected wine critic and vigneron James Halliday is the founder of Halliday Wine Companion. With a wine career spanning over 50 years, James is an unmatched authority on all aspects of the wine industry. For more than 30 years, he was among the most senior and active wine judges in Australia but after many years of producing the Halliday Wine Companion, James Halliday took a step back from some of his vast responsibilities on the guide and today, the esteemed tasting team is made up of seven other panelists, including chief editor Tyson Stelzer. The panelists that cover the Taylors Wines based on region are Jane Faulkner, Erin Larkin, Jenni Port and Ned Goodwin.

Masterstroke Cabernet Shiraz 2017 – 91 points - “Supple, juicy, and pretty… the oak…is still obvious in the mouth and through the finish... the dark fruit riding it like a chariot.”

Jaraman Pinot Noir 2019 – 91 points - “Perfumed and vibrant; layers of poached cherries and dark-chocolate-dipped strawberries… plenty of pleasure...”

TWP Shiraz 2019- 91 points - “Sweet, concentrated and consistent... this will please so very many drinkers.”

Taylor Made Malbec 2021 – 89 points - “…lashings of blackberry, cassis… and strawberry coulis… Plush and inviting, full bodied and silky.”
