19 Jun. 201988 PointsThis is a medium- to full-bodied Shiraz with distinctive charred wood and biscuit notes. Alongside them sit plush, almost sweet, plum and cherry fruit, backed by vanilla, anise and mushroom tones. On the grainy-textured palate, the tangy, plummy fruit is supported by silky tannins. The charred character feels even more oak derived here, and comes with a drying sensation on the finish. Drink now and for the next few years. -
