Wine Colour
Deep red with a purple hue.

Wine Bouquet
The wine displays intensely varietal aromas of stewed plum, blackberry, licorice and violets. Oak
characters such as tobacco and chocolate add to the wines complexity.

Wine Palate
A full bodied wine, it has rich blackberry fruit and spice evident throughout the palate. Ground
coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla and cedar characters combine well with the primary fruit characters, to
create a complex flavour profile. The wine has good balance and excellent length and is subtly warming towards the finish.

Cellaring Notes
Approachable but will reward careful cellaring to 2010, possibly longer.
