Wine Colour
A medium coloured wine of cherry red which will develop into brick red hues over time.
Wine Bouquet
Spice and cedar abound with cherry fruit, a hint of licorice or aniseed, and varietal elements of stewed rhubarb and berry fruit. A fuller styled wine from a ripe vintage.
Wine Palate
A light bodied wine though generous through the mid palate in weight and texture. The fruit characters of black cherry and red currants are juicy and fresh whilst the tannins are fine-grained. The palate finishes delicately yet long in flavour.
Cellaring Notes
Sealed under screw cap to preserve the lifted aromas into the future. The wine will age with careful cellaring to 2009, possibly longer.
