Drinks Weekly, January 2015
A rich, youthful and vibrant wine thats sits on the mid-palate with a velvety mouth feel. Lifted aromas of raspberry, cherry and violets with vanilla, spice and cinnamon from French and American oak maturation. Flavours of vanilla, mocha and subtle spice. Drinking nicely now, but will reward from cellaring, possibly up to and beyond 2021.
Vinonotebook, August 2015
French and American oak. Sweet mocha, coffee beans, brown cinnamon spices and dusty mulberry. On the palate, darker fruits of sour cherry and tart not quite ripe mulberry play against ashen, dusty grippy tannins, resulting in a lot of tongue clacking and teeth staining. So lay it down for a top value cellaring purchase, will easily see 10 years.

Merlot and other Bordeaux Blends
Sweet spicy lifted berry fruit with Christmas cake notes and wrapped up in fine tannins.

Clare Valley and surrounding regions
A youthful wine that needs time in the cellar but it's already delivering estery plum aromas and has generous and well-balanced flavours.
