Wine Colour
Intense ruby red with a vibrant purple hue.

Wine Bouquet
Aromas of faint mint, ripe berry fruit and subtle plum with layers of chocolate, spice and savory earthy tobacco from quality French oak.

Wine Palate
This is a wine of substance with full flavours and a smooth texture. There are red berry fruit, some faint
cassis-like elements and a smooth texture of rich fresh plums are evident in this fresh, juicy wine. Cedar,
spice, nutmeg and faint vanilla are all evident from the oak maturation whilst the acidity gives the wine
balance, refinement and refreshing length of flavor.

Cellaring Notes
Immediately approachable yet in the short term, it may benefit from decanting to help open its
structure slightly. Should cellar well to 2008 – 2012, possibly longer.
