At release, the wine has a very pale straw colour with a subtle green hue to the edge.

The wine has lifted aromas of rosewater and lychees with a touch of spice and lemon zest.
Wine Palate
The palate delivers equally pleasing flavours of fresh lemon juice, rosewater and a touch of spice. The wine exhibits delightful delicacy across the palate and mouth-watering acidity on the back palate which delivers a crisp, clean finish.
Cellaring Notes
This wine has been crafted for immediate enjoyment but will also reward cellaring under ideal conditions up to and possibly beyond 2013.

Gewurtztraminer has plenty to offer in summer with lifted florals like rose petals and often an intriguing exotic spice as well. Here all are kept nicely together with a bowl full of tropical fruit flavours lychee definitely and lime juiciness to finish. Newcomers might see it more like a fragrant moscato without the fizz.Wine of the Week

This is one of those pretty wines that you will keep coming back to. While it is dry, it is sweeetly perfumed with spicy rose and tropical lychee that are typical for wines made from this big-hearted grape. Matching the richness on the nose, the plush fruit bursts onto the palate immediately, making you slow down to literally 'smell the roses'. Try this wine with a fragrant Thai chicken salad or salt and pepper squid.
