St. Andrews
St. Andrews
Shiraz 2003
x2
| Region: | Taylors Winery |
Enormously flavoursome with rich fruit characters of black cherry, plum and ripe berries. American oak adds nuances of vanilla, cigar box, coffee and toast.
Wine Colour
Developing brick red with a crimson heart.
Wine Bouquet
Complex aromas of violets, lifted spice, brooding plum and creamy vanilla from maturation in American oak.
Wine Palate
A rich, mouth filling wine which is round in texture yet still has ample length and elegance. Flavours of purple berry fruit abound with subtle spice and faint cedar along with a pleasurable warmth to the palate. The wine has a long, persistent finish.
Cellaring Notes
Delicious upon release but will reward careful cellaring until 2013, possibly longer.
