Wine Colour
Straw with a deep yellow hue
Wine Bouquet
The wine has an enticing, developed bouquet which is clean and fresh. Fruit perfume elements of lime, and crisp green apples are enhanced by the classic aged Riesling characters of buttered toast and honey. There is also a complex aroma of spice and orange peel.
Wine Palate
Flavours of honey on buttered toast are evident in a mouth-filling yet elegant palate. Lime flavours, a hallmark of great Clare Riesling, are also detectable. Soft yet long acidity, gives great persistence and freshness to the palate while the finish is clean and refreshing.
Cellaring Notes
The wine has been bottle aged prior to release and can be enjoyed now. The wine will develop further with careful cellaring up to and possibly beyond 2012.
