Silky textured with exceptional length and flavours of peach, nectarine and subtle cashew nuances from quality French oak.Download Full Winemaker Note
Straw with a green tinge to the hue.
The wine has a fresh, lifted aromas of white peach and subtle citrus with cashew nut aromas adding interest to the fruit characters.
The palate has a rich texture whilst still retaining a slightly minerally acid backbone, giving it an overall elegance. The mid palate has weight and creaminess from the extended lees maturation and battonage with flavours of white peach, cream and cashews. The finish has cleansing citrus flavours and length from the use of quality French oak.
Designed to drink superbly well upon release, it will also age gracefully with careful cellaring to 2013, possibly longer.

Lovely oak gives the nose a nice nuttiness, supported by smoky barrel ferment. Fullbodied, developed palate with lovely texture. Still holding up.
