Wine Bouquet
The wine aroma has lifted, juicy. characters of cassis, aniseed, plum and mint. French oak maturations lend aromas of coffee, spice, cedar and nutmeg, leading to an interesting and complex aroma.
Wine Palate
The palate delivers the elegance and interest that the aroma promised. It displays classic Cabernet Sauvignon varietal structure; a mouth filling front palate and long, elegant tannins to finish. The wine has mint and cassis fruit characters throughout and French oak nuances of cedar and tobacco are well integrated. A savoury spicy, edge adds to the allure of the wine palate. The finish is long and persistent.
Cellaring Notes
This wine has been sealed with a screw cap to protect the wine quality. It is delicious upon release but will reward careful cellaring to 2010, possibly longer.
