Wine Colour
A deep brick red colour with a ruby garnet hue.
Wine Bouquet
Ripe varietal flavours of plum, licorice and black currants are tucked away in a complex and enticing aroma. Oak nuances of leather, tobacco leaf, cedar and violets emerge creating a generous bouquet.
Wine Palate
A mouth filling wine which is full of ripe berry flavours which are generous across the palate. Long classic fine grained tannins typically of good Cabernet. Rich, warming, silky and sublime this wine has the power & weight expected of Cabernet from Clare from a great year. Tobacco, cigar box and mild leather overtones persist on the finish.
Cellaring Notes
Immediately approachable but will reward cellaring to 2012. May benefit from decanting before serving.
