Aussie bottlings of Shiraz often are described as 'fruit bombs."" Down Under Cabernet Sauvignon tends to be soft and restrained. When you put the two varieties together, it's pure blended bliss - showcasing delicious plum, blackberry and red raspberry flavours, accented by black pepper spice. This value-priced Shiraz Cabernet is a delicious sipping wine, or an ideal pairing partner for burgers or pepperoni pizza.

Australia Rediscovers its Mojo
Deep ruby. Smoky cherry and cassis scents and flavors, with a peppery element adding lift. Soft and round on the palate but missing structure. Finishes broad and gently sweet, repeating the cassis note.

South Australia Cab Shiraz Panel Tasting
The Taylor family has come up with a moreish, affordable red: warm, berry fruit, touches of mint, juicy blackcurrant and plum, with a touch of liquorice spice and an appealing twist of fresh acidity. Drink: 2016-2018

Perhaps the most appealing of the reds from the '14 Promised Land releases. Lifted aromas of ripe blackberry with a touch of liquorice and spice on the bouquet, and the palate lively, fresh-fruited and generous.
