Wine Colour
Deep red with vibrant purple tinges.

Wine Bouquet
Enticing fruit aromas of ripe plum, cassis and a hint of liquorice allsorts along with subtle chocolate and spice from the oak maturation.

Wine Palate
A balanced medium bodied wine with a lively palate of juicy red berries, plum, cassis, chocolate and spice. The wine has a soft, supple feel with silky smooth tannins from oak maturation.
This is the quintessential Australian blend. The oh-so enjoyable combination of plum fruits and spicy pepper make it the perfect wine to take to a BBQ or your favourite pizza parlour.

Cellaring Notes
Has been crafted to be enjoyed immediately but will cellar up to and possibly beyond 2012.

Mike Frost, Courier Mail, August 2009

    Wine - Bargain to By
There's red berries, licorice, chocolate and spice on the nose and palate, with a touch of vanilla oak and a smooth tannin finish.

  • Drink NV

Paddy Kendler, Herald Sun, September 2009

    Drink
Plenty of plum and berry fruit flavour laced with hints of licorice, coffee and chocolate; medium weight with fine, dry tannins and some oak influence. Given the modest price, the Promised Land reds are worth a fly.

  • Wine NV

Peter Forrestal, Sunday Times, September 2009

    Wine
A Clare Valley red for everyday drinking: berry flavours smooth and pleasing approachability.

  • Tasting Notes NV

Tony Love, Adelaide Advertiser, October 2009

    Tasting Notes
A classic, all-purpose Aussie red blend with dusty, earthy old wood meets blood plum fruit set of characters, a faint layer of spice, reasonably bright fruit and bodyweight and a comfortable generous package at this price.

  • Deciphering the need for creams NV

Max Cruz, Daily Advertiser, December 2009

    Deciphering the need for creams
Talk about instant gratification, smells good, tastes good, price's good, just don't leave it too long.

Bright colour; clean, well-made, light to medium-bodied wine with sweet fruit elements and soft tannins; fair length. Gold medals San Francisco International Wine Competition 09 and Modiales de Vins Canada 09.
