Wine Colour
On release the wine is a very pale straw colour with a slight green tinge to the edges.

Wine Bouquet
The wine has intense lifted aromas of melon, lime, citrus and subtle spice.

Wine Palate
The Margaret River component contributes restrained mineral notes that are typical of this region. The Clare Valley parcel delivers mid palate fleshiness along with enticing citrus and white peach characters. Jaraman Chardonnay 2011

Patrick Haddock, Good Taste, January 2012

    Play it Cool
Chardonnay is back and this one from Taylors in the Clare Valley is a leaner, modern version. It smells of peaches and cream with a hint of spice. Full of nectarine and citrus flavours, it's a great match for chicken and tarragon sandwiches or even a crab salad.

    Jaraman Chardonnay 2011

Kerry Skinner, Illawarra Mercury, February 2012

    Quench
A blend of fruit from the Clare Valley and WA's Margaret River in keeping with the label's mission to bring together parcels of fruit from different regions. Fresh and invigorating, citrus and melon on the nose and palate, spice and nutty undertones, lively acidity and a lingering finish.

  • Jaraman Chardonnay 2011

    Lisa Johnston, Sipyourstyle, February 2012

This is a modern style of chardonnay that is winning back chardonnay hearts. It has the poise and elegance that makes it an enjoyable dinner companion or a wine to just sit back and chill with. Floral intensity combines with pretty stonefruit to produce a wine with concentration and generous fruit weight. Fresh drinking with a silky creaminess that will liven up a chicken, marron and tarragon pie or perhaps some baked salmon with lemon.
