Wine Colour
At release, a deep opaque crimson with a vibrant red hue.

Wine Bouquet
The wine has lifted, aromas of violets, blackcurrant, cassis and liquorice along with complex, earthy aromas of cigar box and subtle mint.

Wine Palate
The wine has a full-bodied palate with good balance between fruit and tannins. Ripe flavours of black current and cassis abound, followed by subtle secondary French oak characters of cedar and spice. The tannins are fine and elegant and the finish is long and persistent.

Cellaring Notes

Will reward careful cellaring in ideal conditions to 2016, and possibly beyond.

    Jaraman Cabernet Sauvignon 200792/100

    Our Picks
The French oak exposure lifts the mouth feel and the substantial tannins tighten up the finish. A great example of what a good cabernet should be. It's a wine that benefits from being given time to open up in the glass - so be patient.
