Wine Colour

At release, the wine is a pale straw.

Wine Bouquet

The wine has a fresh, lifted aroma of white peach, subtle pineapple and a hint of honey dew melon. Enticing cashew nut aromas from the oak add complexity to the bouquet.

Wine Palate

The palate has a rich texture to the mid-palate whilst still retaining a slightly minerally acid backbone, giving it an overall elegance. There is a touch of creaminess from the lees maturation and battonage. Flavours of white peach, nectarine, cream and cashews are evident along with cleansing citrus at the finish. The wine has wonderful length from the use of quality French oak.

Cellaring Notes

Designed to drink superbly well upon release, it will also age gracefully with careful cellaring to 2016, possibly longer.
