Australia's First Families of Wine
Wakefield Wines has joined with eleven of the most celebrated family names in Australian wine to form a global marketing initiative - Australia's First Families of Wine (AFFW). The initiative was officially launched at the Sydney Opera House on Monday 31st August.
Australia’s First Families of Wine is a made up of a group of 12 family owned Australian wineries. Together they represent 16 Australian regions across four states and between them have more than 1200 years of winemaking experience.
Mitchell Taylor, Founding Director of AFFW is excited to be part of such a revolutionary movement in Australian wine: "AFFW is about telling the real story of the Australian Wine Industry from the families that developed and nurtured it!"
