Honey Soy Venison
Ingredients
1 kg venison rump, cubed
1 star anise
3 cloves garlic, whole
2 tsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp liquid honey
1 tsp sea salt
250 ml lager beer
olive oil
Directions
Grease a casserole dish with the olive oil, add in the venison cubes, star anise and garlic. Pour the soy, honey, and beer evenly over the venison, then season with salt.
Bake at 170º for 2 – 2 ½ hours.
Remove the star anise and garlic cloves. Serve with roast potatoes and steamed vegetables.
