Wine Colour

On release, the wine is deep red with a slightly purple hue.

Wine Bouquet

The wine has a lifted fresh fruit aromas of blackberry and plum. Secondary characters of dark chocolate, dried herbs and spice add complexity to the bouquet.

Wine Palate

The wine has luscious red berry and cassis characters throughout the palate while subtle spice and dark chocolate characters add complexity. The mid-palate is soft and round with long elegant tannins and a velvety, persistent finish.

Cellaring Notes

The wine can be enjoyed now but will benefit from careful cellaring up to and possibly beyond 2015.
