Deep red with a slightly purple hue.

Wine Bouquet

This wine has a gorgeous lifted perfume. Blackberries, plums, licorice and apricots are evident in the bouquet upon release. Underlying aromas of vanilla, dark chocolate, violets and cedar add to the complexity of the aroma.

Wine Palate

The palate delivers everything that the aromas promise. Juicy plums, blackberry licorice and apricot flavours flow through to the mid palate. This is a well structured and balanced wine with fine tannins which persist well after the wine has been finished.

Suggested Food Matching

Try it with rich, Italian-style food such as lasagna.
